For over 10 years, I have been fascinated with the art of making soap.   Once I made my first batch, I realized what I had been missing, a pure natural soap that not only cleans, but moisturizes the skin.  The formula that I developed gives this proper balance of cleaning and conditioning while providing a rich lather.   I do not use dyes or chemicals, only pure plant based oils and butters. 

A few years ago, I was visiting my father and we got on the subject of shaving, I shave with a traditional double edge safety razor, brush and soap.  He mentioned that he was using the soap that I made and gave him to try "It's got olive oil in it, of course it's going to be good".  Well, I was not using my own soap to shave with so I gave it a try and it works great.   Then, my daughter gave it the shave test on her legs and proclaimed, "wow, it's great, no nicks".  

My Friends have commented:

"It smells so good I want to eat it..."

"Like cashmere for your skin..."

"My complexion has cleared up and I just feel so clean"

"Where can I buy this soap?" - and this was the reason why I launched this store.  

The name Kate and Albert comes from my grandparents, who I believe embodied a life that was simple and pure.  A tribute to a simpler time.
